  • Our Customers: Call data and dispatch details are shared with the business whose calls we handle, as they are the service provider.
  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating our services (e.g., cloud hosting, telephony, AI processing).
  • Legal Compliance: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.

4. SMS Privacy, Communications & Data Protection

This section consolidates how Sturdion handles SMS data, what messages we send, and how we protect mobile information. For the public-facing program terms, see our SMS Terms.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

SMS messages from Sturdion Dispatch Alerts are used only for the following purposes:

  • Transactional dispatch: technician ETA, job status, appointment confirmations, and dispatch notifications.

SMS retention: SMS logs (including message content, delivery status, and opt-in/opt-out events) are retained 90 days by default. Retention may be extended where required for regulatory or audit purposes under a customer agreement.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Call recordings and transcripts are retained in accordance with our customer agreements.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Our services integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., Twilio for telephony, cloud providers for hosting). These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

10. Call Recording

Sturdion's AI voice agents handle inbound and outbound calls on behalf of our customers. Calls are recorded for quality, dispatch, and audit purposes.

  • Audible pre-call disclosure: every Sturdion-handled call begins with an audible disclosure ("This call may be recorded for quality and dispatch purposes. By continuing you consent to recording.") before any substantive conversation.
  • Retention: call recordings and derived transcripts are retained 90 days by default. Retention is configurable per customer in the Sturdion service agreement.
  • Two-party-consent states acknowledged: we acknowledge that California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Washington require all-party consent for call recording. Our uniform pre-call audible disclosure is delivered to every caller to satisfy these requirements.
